Panthenol acts as a lubricant on the skin and hair’s surface, enhancing their appearance and feel, by increasing hair body, suppleness and sheen. It can also help to improve the texture of hair that has been damaged by chemical treatment. Panthenol is an alcohol derived from pro-vitamin B5.
